This woven piece was made by the nomadic Afghan people. It is hand woven and remarkably long, measuring 136 inches. There are tassels at one end and two cuts where a cord was probably placed. This could have been a bridal trapping for a camel or tent. I acquired this piece at an estate of an attorney who help create a judicial system in that region in the late 1970s and early 1980s. whole pieces have been stored carefully and do not have any odors.

Antique Baluchi Trapping Woven Sash Scarf Handmade Middle East Camel Tent 136x6

This woven piece was made by the nomadic Afghan people. It is hand woven and exceptionally long, measuring 136 inches. There are tassels at one end and two cuts where a cord was probably placed. This could have been a bridal trapping for a camel or tent.
I acquired this piece at an estate of an attorney who help create a judicial system in that region in the late 1970s and early 1980s. entire pieces have been stored carefully and do not have any odors.
