Dave Starsky and Ken Hutchinson were streetwise detectives with polar opposite characters and a penchant for guns, girls and screeching tires. It was the latter of the elements which introduced the bond of this successful partnership. Starsky’s traffic troubling 1974 Ford Gran Torino customized with a lightning flash of a go faster stripe. The $4,461 Gran Torino was one of only 1177 built for the US market. The show eventually ended in 1979 but the revival continues to this day, not least at the Starsky and Hutch nightclub in London which often features a guest appearance by Antonio Fargas (Huggy Bear).THIS ITEM COMES BRAND NEW IN ITS ORIGINAL BOX
