This is a incredibly elaborate European vintage ring.
It features a large black glass stone surrounded by smaller glass stones,
in a floral design.

At first glance, it looks appreciate a claw setting, but it's actually a bezel setting,
which is the highlight of this piece.

The jagged edges embrace the stone in a design-conscious bezel,
similar to those found in Indian jewelry.

And the back of the bezel has a detail that will please collectors.

I bought it at a flea market and kept it in my collection.
