Model Home closet accesspories. 1950s era. Chrome latch and lucite carrying handle. Hard wood frame with vinyl that gives the appearance of quilting. The metallic gold label is still on the bottom of the box reading Model Home Quality closet accessories by Henry A. Enrich & Co, Inc.,N.Y. There is a vinyl pocket on the roof, but the elastic is slightly brittle. The item is definitly used with some stains, the majority on the bottom of the box. The inside is clean, hinges work well, and latch works well also. The exceptional feature of this particular box is the 2 silver handles on each side of the box. I have found similar boxes from this company, but none have the 2 side silver handles. Measures 12 across, 9 3/4 front to back and the outer depth measurement (including the lid is 5 3/4. The actual depth of the box is 4 1/4. Perfect for everyday use. superior materials and excellent craftsmanship ensure long-lasting durability.
